What Is Therapeutic Riding?

Therapeutic horse riding was introduced in our country in the late 1960’s. Challenged adults and children utilize this therapy for both psychological and physical disabilities. Through riding, students improve balance, coordination, muscle strength, as well as self-confidence. The bond with the horse can lead to increased confidence, patience, and self-esteem.
